The income for the MSG comes primarily from the secondary healthcare contract (90%). The balance is from private earnings. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there was an impact on the services that MSG were able to provide during the lockdown period, which impacted on our income. We were able to reduce our expenses in some areas, however these savings have been offset by an increase in other areas (e.g. Insurance and property). Total costs to the business therefore increased by 0.6% compared to 2019.
